Three of my framed drawings and one paper scroll are being exhibited at The Hut Gallery Drawing and Printmaking Exhibition, Underwood Road Frentree Gully. Exhibition opens Friday 9th November 7.00p.m.
They can be seen on my drawings site.
They are:
'Searching for Steve', 'Treeferns Kallista', 'Beauty Bend',
and the scroll is 'Nude inamongst it'.

Current work

I am working on paintings from memories of the south of France. It's taking the chill off winter in Melbourne.

Upcoming article

I have an article on life drawing being published
in October or November edition of 'Australian Artist'.

Current Work

I am currently painting dreamscapes of 'feeding fish' and 'chinese junk'. Photos will be up on this blog soon. I am also doing some still-lifes, investigating colour and semi abstract compositions.

Paintings on show

Some of my paintings can be seen in two local cafes in the Dandenong
Ranges, RIPE in Sassafras and KALLISTA Tearooms (YES) These
cafes are the best in the Hills if you are having a weekend drive.

I have paintings on display in the gallery at Fine Art and Framing, 362 Main
Street Emerald. I can recommend David's immaculate framing too.

Vale Fille

Lovely Fille, life model for the Friday Group at the Hut on many occasions, has died of cancer, age 35. She will be sadly missed by all who enjoyed her lively company.

Fereration of Australian Writers Award

Last Friday, March 30th 2007, our last year's writing group called The Hut Creative Writing Group attended a ceremony at the Stonnington Mansion, which is part of Deakin University. We were 'Commended" for an anthology of Group Writing. My entries were 'Skin" 'En Provence' and some Haikus. They are here in 'writings' if you want to see them.

New Work

Published

'Butcher of Panzano' see writings, was published in Travellers Tales in the Saturday Age on March 17th.

Current work

I am drawing in the forest, big black and white ones, will have some up to show soon. They are for pleasure, the ones causing me pain are big stream of conciousness drawings about my life and all the people and places in it. Coming soon to this blog.
